Zotac offers a number of servers in different heights as well as workstation PCs. Technically, the manufacturer wants to be at the forefront, with the latest hardware. These include the latest Xeon processors from Intel (Emerald Rapids) and AMD's Epycs, including the Bergamo 128 cores.

When it comes to accelerators, Zotac wants to cover all major manufacturers, which should include Nvidia's H100 and AMD's MI300. This includes attached SXM cards and OCP Accelerator Modules (OAM).
At the start, Zotac is launching server racks in 4U and 8U designs. Anyone who chooses PCI Express graphics cards should be able to install up to ten devices in the 4U models. Regardless of the specific server, Zotac mentions the possibility of using up to five 2000 watt power supplies with 80 Plus Titan certification. One of them works redundantly to protect against a possible power supply failure.
From graphics cards and mini PCs to servers
So far, Zotac has mainly manufactured GeForce graphics cards and mini PCs. However, the company is no longer allowed to sell its high-end models in the Chinese home market due to US sanctions. This primarily affects the GeForce RTX 4090.
With the servers and workstations, Zotac is now building a new foothold – obviously with Nvidia's support, because without it the company's (AI) accelerators would not exist. Zotac is allowed to sell the latter abroad – there are slower versions or bundles of cases and mainboards for China.
The company has scheduled the start of sales for March 25, 2024. Zotac already lists numerous servers on a landing page that will soon be available for ordering. Prices are not yet known.
