In his speech, Vladimir Putin described Crimea as part of the «tradition and pride of Russia» after the elections on which they have planned the war with Ukraine and the shadow of the opponent Alekséi Navalni. Already on Sunday after the results were known, Putin dedicated a few words to Alekséi Navalni, leader of the opposition. Then, he described his death as a «sad event». Using his name in public for the first time in years, Putin stated that “as for Mr. Navalny. Yes, he has passed away. “It is a sad event,” he added later: “A few days before Mr. Navalny died, some colleagues told me… that there was an idea of exchanging Mr. Mr. Navalni for some people who are in prison in Western countries… I said: 'I agree'”.
Putin has also called for the “restoration” of a railway line to connect Russia with Ukraine. The rails will run from the Russian port city of Rostov-on-Don to occupied Berdiansk, located on the Black Sea coast in Zaporiya Oblast, about 65 kilometers southwest of Mariupol.
«Glory to Russia“Putin said before the Russian national anthem played. This bathing of crowds was the culmination of a three-day election, the result of which did not represent any surprise either in Russia or in the international community. The president of Russia Vladimir Putin pointed out this Monday that the war against Ukraine will dominate the Kremlin's political agenda and has asked for unity to “move forward together, hand in hand. “What really makes us stronger: not words, but actions,” Putin stressed.
«Happy Holidays!“Putin shouted, who finished: “Long live Russia!” The crowd broke into the Russian national anthem before men in military uniforms with pro-war patches and “Z” medals took the stage and joined a singer in a war ballad. «Give him the strength to win», has prayed the chorus in an event in which Putin has shown little emotion in contrast to other celebrations. It was in 2012 when he appeared to cry during his speech after winning the election.
