Large language models can be adapted and reused to meet the different needs of different industries. Companies therefore do not have to spend time training their own large AI models. Instead, they can use existing models and adapt them to their requirements. This not only opens up many new opportunities for companies, but also makes it easier for companies to integrate and use their own AI applications.

Lots of practice and exercises
In the Developing, fine-tuning and using large language models workshop, you will learn how to develop, adapt and integrate language and image recognition models into your processes for your own purposes. After an introduction to the basics and an overview of current deep learning solutions, we get into practice. You will get to know the deep learning framework PyTorch using exercises. You'll then train a large language model and an image recognition model from scratch using a demo use case and learn how to customize them. Various deep learning techniques and tools are used. Sergey Danilov and Markus Gürtler will introduce you to some of these techniques for fine-tuning models as well as other training options such as Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF).
This workshop will take place from April 16 to 18, 2024 and is aimed at IT professionals who are looking for a solid introduction to machine learning and want to familiarize themselves with current deep learning technologies. Both the opportunities and the risks of deep learning models are discussed.
Two experts from B1 Systems GmbH will guide you through the workshop. Markus Gürtler and data scientist Sergey Danilov look back on more than 12 years of experience in the field of artificial intelligence and deep learning.
