In the workshop Programming more productively with Github Copilot and ChatGPT, you will learn how GitHub Copilot works based on the underlying algorithms and data, what the limits are and when it is better to use ChatGPT. Our trainer Rainer Stropek demonstrates how it works and explains how you can integrate the tools into your workflow so that you can program more efficiently and quickly.
Using concrete examples and practical exercises, you will gain experience in using the useful AI tools. You will use GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT in your development workflows and learn to use their advantages for code generation and troubleshooting. You will learn to implement the OpenAI REST API in various programming languages such as .NET, Python and JavaScript/TypeScript and will become familiar with the concepts of embedding and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) design.
Rainer Stropek is an expert in software development, software architecture and cloud computing. With his team he developed the award-winning SaaS time tracking “time cockpit”.
The one-day online workshop will take place on March 4, 2024 and is aimed at everyone who develops software.
