His family and childhood
He was born in Madrid and belongs to the Spanish aristocratic family, has three sisters Maria Teresa Ortiz OsborneVIII Countess of Las Navas, Marta Ortiz Osborne and Maria de la Luz Ortiz Osborne. He spent much of his childhood in Villanueva de los Infantes, in Ciudad Real and his birth name is Norberto Juan Ortiz Osborne.
He studied at the Jesuits in Chamartín, at the San José de Campillos boarding school and at the Alfonso XII School in San Lorenzo de El Escorial. He began studying Agricultural Engineering in Valladolid, but abandoned his studies and left home.
