Afedecothe most representative organization of the commercial sector in the Balearic Islands, has carried out the first of the lunches-colloquium with the candidates for the mayor’s office of Palma, the Council of Mallorca and the presidency of the Government. On this first occasion, and following an order of representativeness, from lowest to highest in Parliament, the meeting was held with the representatives of vox.
The employers have specified in a statement that “the Executive Committee has been able to convey the main concerns of the sector: online sales, desertification, lack of parking, graffiti and the dirt of the Balearic capital, the granting of licenses for large surfaces, the AMIC or the creation of a trade observatory, among other issues ».
For its part, Vox has explained its position on the vote against the municipal areas of commercial impulse (AMIC), when for Afedeco it is the only way to energize cities. For political formation, the law approved in Parliament “has many defects” that have been exposed to those attending the lunch.
Regarding the creation of the trade observatory, although Vox has been in favor of suppressing the maximum number of public companies, it has seen interesting to create this observatory to know in detail the situation of trade in the Balearic Islands.
