Center of Barcelona. Any afternoon. You are in the Plaza de San Jaume and a guy with a barretina and a estelada flag as a cape approaches you. “I’m going to smack you,” he assures you. You look at him skeptically and reply that “you won’t do it, you’re a Catalan with seny, it’s not your style”. And he goes and sticks his fist in your face. The next day, on the same stage. The same guy sees you, he stands next to you and blurts out: “Today’s shit is going to be twice as big as yesterday’s. Get ready.” You tell him that “I don’t believe you, Catalans are more civilized than the rest of the Spaniards”. Of course, two punches in the nose, and a kick in the pelvic area “for calling me Spanish”. Twenty-four hours later, the same scenario, and the same protagonists. Same warning from the stelat, same placating response, and this time the hollow of hosts is worthy of a full contact match.
As you can see, it’s not the separatist’s fault, he does what he’s allowed. He warns that he will return to fer, and since they ignore him, he goes and does it. What a surprise. The question is how it is possible that there are politicians who continue to spread that it is necessary to “get along” with the nationalists, and that the important thing is to “integrate” them. It is not possible to “integrate” someone who not only does not have the will to do so, but also presumes that he or she is going to break the democratic laws of our country, that will break the nation and that it is going to condemn millions of non-independence Catalans to being third-class citizens. And it is that when they say that they are not going to comply with the judicial sentences, they comply. Because they have been acting like this for more than thirty years while the Government, the Prosecutor’s Office, the Supreme Court and the rest of the powers of our country look the other way and whistle “el chiringuito”, the mythical song by Georgie Dann.
Those who still consider that the Catalan nationalists have a remedy and that it is necessary to ‘build bridges’ -which comes to be the transfer policy that began so lucratively Jordi Pujol, and is still in force – should be subjected to shock treatment. For a month they should watch only TV3 and listen to fucking Spain every two to three and enjoy the reports on the charges of October 1, as if they were a massacre. Listen to Catalunya Ràdio and RAC-1, with their continuous messages about the moral superiority of the Catalan people compared to the moral misery of a Francoist Spain and in the hands of reactionaries with a plateau mentality. And read the myriad of what the essayist Pau Guix he calls “the digital hate”, pro-independence media subsidized with the money of all Spaniards to sell tons of resentment towards everything Spanish. After a media diet like this there are only two options: either you are willing to demonstrate every night with torches and paramilitary uniforms for the Catalan Republic, or you become convinced that nationalism is evil and that it must be fought by all means.
When the separatists call non-independence Catalans, and Spaniards in general, “nordos”, which is the same as calling them “shit” or “turullos”, it is because they think we are inferior. Trying to reach agreements with the secessionists is to perpetuate the “ñordu atonyinat syndrome”. Atonyinar in Catalan means “beating up”, and whoever suffers from this condition likes to be continually humiliated and deceived by some supremacists who despise you so much so that they consider that by not defending the Catalan Republic you are only detritus that deserves to be stepped on. If you don’t believe me, go to a search engine and type “ñordo Cataluña independence”, “ñordo TV3”, »puta España TV3″ or similar expressions. And then, keep thinking about agreeing with the independentists…
