The spokesperson of the PP in Parliament, Toni Costa, today demanded that the Government of Armengol “stop lying” about the judicial process due to the opposition of the daughter and son-in-law of the former general director of IbSalut, Juli Fuster, after the information that appeared today in the press that proves that “the The Government had known for two years that there was a legal process against IbSalut”. “Enough of lies”, Costa has claimed: “We hope that next Tuesday the Minister of Health, Patricia Gómez, will tell the truth once and for all”, the popular has pronounced in relation to the scheduled appearance of the Minister next Tuesday in Parliament.
“Today we know that the Government knew for two years that there was a judicial process against IbSalut due to the opposition process in which direct relatives of the general director of IbSalut appeared”, Costa pointed out after the meeting of spokespersons.
“The Government cannot claim ignorance, because on August 4, 2020 it was published that this procedure was underway at the BOIB”, he listed, also recalling that “the director general requested reports and rejected resources, so it is evident that I knew the process.”
“It is not credible that he did not know that his daughter and his son-in-law were presenting themselves to those oppositions, nobody can believe that he did not know that his daughter was presenting himself to some oppositions”, Costa has shown. “Consequently, the government spokesman, Iago Negueruela, also lied. Either they lied or they don’t know what is published in the official gazette”, he continued.
Costa has also referred to the appearance of the minister Gómez on vaccination, in which “a year and a half later he has unequivocally admitted that senior IbSalut officials skipped the vaccination queue and were vaccinated before their turn”. “So now we also know that the Government of Armengol lied when it said that no one had skipped the vaccination queue”, has concluded: “Citizens do not deserve a government that lies to them. Enough of the lies.”
