heise devSec will take place on September 12th and 13th. The seventh edition of the conference on secure software development will take place again this year in Karlsruhe. Furthermore, the motto is “Secure software begins before the first line of code”.

heise devSec 2023 is aimed at IT professionals who have an eye on the topic of security and who have to face the associated challenges. Above all, software developers and architects, project managers and team leaders as well as security and quality officers take part in heise devSec.

Security in all phases of software development

The organizers search in the Call for Proposals heise Developer, heise Security, iX and dpunkt.verlag until March 31 Lectures and workshops on the following topics, among others:

  • Design and secure architectures
  • Security by Design, Security Engineering
  • Supply Chain Security
  • Secure Free and Open Source Software and its development
  • DevSecOps
  • Secure software and data protection-compliant implementation
  • Compliance-oriented development for German and international markets

Testimonials are particularly welcome. Anyone who would like to be informed about the course of heise devSec can register for the newsletter or the organizers follow on twitter – the hashtag is this year #devSec23.

The program will be published in mid-May. Until then, those who decide early can buy tickets at the particularly favorable blind bird rate.
