Pedro Sánchez faces this Saturday, March 18, the last Federal Committee of the PSOE before the elections regional and municipal authorities on May 28. An important meeting in which the candidacies for the next elections will be confirmed.
However, three regional leaders of the PSOE, that they will precisely repeat their candidacy on 28M, they have jilted the secretary general of his party. Javier Lambán, president of Aragon; Ximo Puig, president of the Valencian Community; and Emiliano García-Page, president of Castilla-La Mancha, have not appeared in Ferraz.
At first, it was planned that the three of them would attend the meeting that will take place in Ferraz this Saturday, but at the last minute they changed their minds.
According to what OKDIARIO has learned, Page has alleged that “a farmer from Albacete has died” to avoid his meeting with Sánchez. The other two socialist leaders mentioned, Lambán and Puig, have not indicated any reason justifying his absence. In this sense, it should be noted that no other act appears on the PSOE’s agenda in Aragon and the Valencian Community.
And, although the Valencian Community faces its great weekend of festivities due to the fallas that are celebrated in the capital of the region, the truth is that the regional government’s agenda does not include any act of its president, Ximo Puig. Yes, José Muñoz, the Secretary of Organization of the Valencian Socialists, will go to the Federal Committee of the PSOE.
It should be remembered that the Federal Committee that Pedro Sánchez faces this Saturday is of great importance because it is the last one to be held before the regional and municipal elections of 28M, and in it the party’s candidacies for these elections will be confirmed.
