The mayor of Alcorcón, Natalia de Andreshas announced her candidacy for Mayor for the 2023 elections after having consulted the Executive Commission, which has given her “unanimous” support. carried out in the city is being positive for the citizens and that we must complement it and conclude it with the second legislature”, explained De Andrés, sentenced to five years of disqualification for going bankrupt a public company.
For the also general secretary of the PSOE Alcorcón, this is a responsibility that she faces with “great enthusiasm, great desire and great support from my colleagues”, for which, she affirms, she does not feel alone, but rather has the “strength of all those who want me to spearhead this project.”
De Andrés has insisted that in the last three years Alcorcón has undergone “a profound transformation” that they now need to consolidate to face new future challenges in the city.
In this sense, he has referred to the fact that this mandate, in which they have encountered “serious difficulties, both due to the terrible situation we find and due to the health crisis and other difficult situations”, has been “a first impulse”.
“There is still a lot to do: we have only rebuilt and consolidated the foundations of the Alcorcón of the future and we know how to do it: with the citizens by the hand and placing the alcorconeros and alcorconeras always as protagonists of our policies”, underlined Natalia de Andrés .
