The change that will occur in Mercadona’s schedule
Mercadona is going to have a completely radical time change for tomorrow, Monday, March 20, and specifically for Madriddue to the celebration of St. Joseph’s Daywhich is a public holiday in this Autonomous Community.
The company has communicated that the opening and closing hours of all its stores in the city of Madrid will be affected by this holidaysince all its establishments are going to be closed tomorrow, Monday, March 20.
Mercadona’s opening hours in Madrid, and in the rest of Spain, are from 09:00 to 21:30 from Monday to Friday. However, this time customers in Madrid will not be able to go shopping as usual and will have to wait for the Tuesday March 21 to find the stores open to the public again.
The festivity of Saint Joseph’s Day, as we have already mentioned, is marked in the calendar of public holidays of the Community of Madrid. However, As this year the party is celebrated on a Sunday, it has been decided to move this to tomorrow, Monday, March 20.as it is in fact a “substitutable” holiday.
