To prevent it from appearing there is a plant that you should place in different corners of the home, including the bathroom. This will capture moisture and consequently reduce mold.
Begonia
It’s about the begonia, whose care is very simple and does not require great knowledge of gardening. There are three types of begonias according to their roots: rhizomatous, tuberous and fasciculated. There are a series of basic tips that you should know to take care of this plant as it deserves:
Brightness: the begonia needs light, but this must be indirect. It does not tolerate direct sunlight because it can burn its leaves.
Temperature: the begonia is a tropical plant, so it needs a warm environment, between 13 and 22 degrees. Exposing it to both higher and lower temperatures is dangerous.
Humidity: this plant loves humidity, but it should not be excessive either because otherwise it risks rotting. Beyond watering it with the appropriate frequency, it is very important that it have a substrate that retains moisture and can maintain aeration.
Irrigation: as far as watering is concerned, during the winter months, it is enough that it be every seven or nine days. Meanwhile, in the summer months, the recommended frequency is three days. Forget about the watering can, because the ideal is to put water on the bottom of the plant, and let it be the one that hydrates.
Ventilation: Something that you should keep in mind is that this plant does not tolerate stuffy environments, so it needs good ventilation to be healthy. Keep it away from any draft.
Subscriber: You have to be regular when it comes to fertilizing the begonia. When it is in flower, it is best to do it every 20 days.
