The Mossos d’Esquadra have carried out a macro-raid in the waka discolocated in Sant Quirze del Vallés, in Barcelona, in the early hours of this Saturday. Almost 1,000 people have been identified and ten have been reported for drug possession.
The regional Police has explained on social networks that units from the Regional Area of Operational Resources (ARRO), Citizen Security and Administrative Police have participated in the device. Total, 906 people have been identifiedof which ten have been reported for drug possession.
The operation, in which the chief commissioner of the Mossos d’Esquadra -Eduard Sallent- has also been present, has been carried out between 02:40 and 05:30 hours this Saturday.
The Mossos have spread the images of this operation on social networks. In them you can see dozens of agents breaking into the disco and identifying everyone there.
Other controversies
This is not the first time that the Waka Sabadell nightclub has come under the spotlight of the authorities. Just a month ago, they denounced a case of chemical submission to a minor under 16 years of age that was recorded performing fellatio in the same place. The young woman explained that she did not remember anything and that the “last image of her was asking for a drink at the bar.” The events occurred at a party for minors.
The Equality Minister, Tania Verge, then assured that the Waka Sabadell nightclub “is not a safe space.” For her part, the mother of the minor emphasized the lack of intervention on the part of the disco. «Nobody went to separate them, nor to help them. No one from security ever approached her. I am surprised that they did not take my daughter and call me to tell me what had happened, “she added about it.
But this has not been the only controversy in this nightlife venue. On another occasion they denounced a brutal assault by two goalkeepers against a young man who was kicked at the doors of the disco. In addition, on other occasions, pitched battles have been recorded.
