Hand in hand with Netflix, On April 5th, Lewis Capaldi’s documentary will be released worldwide. Under the title of How I’m Feeling Now, (How I feel now), it will arrive a month before the release of his new album, and will offer viewers a personal look at the artist’s life in recent years.
Through their social networks, the artist has opened up about this project: «When the opportunity to make a documentary arose, I had many doubts. I think because I seem pretty open about a lot of things, whether it’s in interviews, on stage or on social media, people assume they know a lot about me and my life, but actually I tend to keep a lot to myself for a reason. preferably,” he said.
Lewis confessed his nervousness about the imminent release of a documentary: “I feel like there are a lot of things that I haven’t talked about before and, actually, The film is much more intimate than I had imagined, so I feel especially vulnerable.” points out the British artist.
Likewise, he has revealed that the title of his documentary is about a song with an imminent release. “The movie is called How I’m Feeling Now and it’s named after a song I wrote and that it will be released on March 17 at midnight. It’s the last song I wrote for my next album and it’s about something I’ve never written about in my music before: my mental health. Obviously, I am fully aware of how lucky I am to have the life that I have. and I know that there are people in much worse situations than mine, but although the last five years have been the best of my life, I would be lying if I said that all this has not taken its toll on me mentally…”, he said.
