New regulatory requirements at EU level through the Cyber Security Act are causing manufacturers to have the software and hardware they create tested and certified for security. But which guidelines and requirements must be taken into account in Germany and on the European market?

In our online workshop on security testing and certification of IT products, you will receive a comprehensive insight into the common procedures in this area over two mornings. These include, among others, the Common Criteria for Information Technology Security Evaluation (CC), the accelerated security certification procedure (BSZ) of the Federal Office for Information Security as well as the security framework NESAS (Network Equipment Security Assurance Scheme) and tests according to IEC 62443-4-2 ( Industrial Security).
You will gain an understanding of the testing methods used and learn how you can integrate the necessary protective measures into your IT products. Your trainer Sebastian Fritsch is head of the BSI Common Criteria (CC) testing center at secuvera and has more than 10 years of experience as an appraiser, auditor and consultant.
The online workshop will take place on March 13th and 14th, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The training offers plenty of opportunity for individual questions and exchanges with experts.
