On July 13th and 14th, 2022, another edition of the IT Job compact will take place at the Technical University of Munich. This is an IT recruiting fair organized by Heise Medien with an accompanying specialist conference. This time it will be held parallel to the final of the Cyber Security Challenge Germany, an annual hacking competition for young people. As a result, the program on the IT Job compact stage not only includes the job topics from previous editions, but also IT security lectures. There are also insights into the parallel hacking competition, the presentation of the finalists and the selection of the winners.
At the IT job compact, companies can present themselves, offer their vacant IT positions and be available for direct job interviews. Experienced HR specialists and coaches also present current job topics, report on opportunities in the professional environment and provide valuable impulses for career planning. Security experts also provide insights into their profession, report on possible attack scenarios and present valuable tips for securing corporate IT.
Registration for the IT job compact has been open for some time.
Who is the best junior hacker?
The Cyber Security Challenge Germany is an annual hacking competition for young people. All participants can test their hacking skills in different areas, including reverse engineering, forensics, cryptography and exploitation.
In Munich, the Association for the Promotion of Young IT Security eV (NFITS), which is responsible for the competition, is holding the German finals, to which the top ten participants from the Junior (14 to 20 years old) and Senior (21 to 25 years old) categories are invited . The winners can then advance to the European finals in September, followed by some sort of World Cup later in the year. All information about the competition and registration can be found on the Cyber Security Challenge Germany (CSCG) website.
