The exclamation “I want that!” you often hear when there are creative templates for 3D prints to be seen on the Internet. Printing it yourself is even more satisfying than ordering because you don’t have to wait for a postal package and the printer can start production immediately. Small catch: Of course, this is only possible if you have a 3D printer and it works.

We address all these problems in this article because there are solutions. Not all of them work with every printer, because some of the hardware has to meet special requirements.
In order to avoid frustration and long tinkering, before you buy a printer you should think about what you want to print, which of the many machines on the market will do it best and tear the smallest possible hole in the budget.
