Diego Yanez (2001, Barquisimeto, Venezuela) has spent four years studying on the Somosaguas campus without agreeing with the extreme leftist ideas that many of his professors proclaim. She chairs the Libertad Sin Ira student association, one of the few that stands up to violent radicals who prevent social democratic, liberal or conservative politicians from giving talks at the university.
He relates in a walk through the Faculty of Politics with OKDIARIO all the trips received from other students, teachers or staff of the Complutense University. He has suffered death threats through his social networks, he has had to read insulting graffiti or in favor of terrorism.
“Harassment and persecution is constant. They call us Nazis, coup plotters… they tell us that we are on their lists,” says this young man, who was also born in Venezuela and denounces that Spain is on its way to becoming a Chavista regime. Last week he had to work hard to defend the entry of the president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Diaz Ayusoin the delivery of the illustrious student award.
We cannot express our ideas in a Faculty of Politics. We are forced to write what the teacher wants to hear. That is very serious. They impose a single idea, there is no debateThey don’t want to debate. Juan Carlos Monedero gave me a class, he said that I was ruining his classes and not to come back, “he says.
«We live death threats, are normalized. Now we have decided to report them to the Civil Guard. We have, as you can see, the entire hallway vandalized with graffiti ‘Up AND’ or ‘ETA did little’, it’s scandalous”, indicates Yáñez as another student approaches who interrupts the interview: “Diego, you know that for the media to record here you have to ask for permission”. “What are you the Police?” He indicates with regret and chooses to continue speaking to the OKDIARIO cameras. The University has a budget of 12,000 euros a year to clean graffiti, but the dean does nothing. They tell us that this gives the faculty a bohemian character, but she worries us a lot that when they go to hire us the company will say that our titles are worth less and hire another candidate,” he denounces.

«They have us monitored, it is not convenient for them to show the reality of the university. The vote of Podemos is promoted openly. The first day of the course we put up an information table of Libertad Sin Ira with a Spanish flag and they burned it for us and they wrote Gora ETA on it. 50 hooded men waited for us at the exit saying that they were going to hit us”, ugly. “They do not want to give us, like the rest of the associations, a place for activities because before a right-wing association was burned.”
Asked if they are afraid, Yáñez indicates that, on the one hand, yes, especially in some of the one hundred members of his entity, but on the other hand it gives them motivation. They do not want to allow the Spanish university to become «an apartheid».
“Here the culture of terrorism and political violence is promoted like nowhere else. Our teachers are the architects of the leftist governments of Latin America. Purse often misses class to go to Venezuela to promote corrupt governments, “she adds. Regarding the fact that Pablo Iglesias has returned to teaching, he is not surprised: «I have read in OKDIARIO that he has failed twice in other teaching positions, but here he has many friends. Here Podemos was born. I wouldn’t be surprised if he tampered with the papers.”
To complete the description of his educational center, he adds: «There are rooms in the university where they smoke joints and there are mattresses where they have sex. It would be something unthinkable in other universities. Our fees pay for abandoned urban orchards. They use the furniture of the university for barricades, ”lists this young policy student who promises to continue without resigning.
