Ciudadanos (CS) has proposed a ten point reduction in income tax for all families from the second child and the first in the case of single parents. This has been announced by the political spokesperson of CS and candidate to preside over the Government, Patricia Guaspthis Sunday at the presentation of the liberal measures to support families and the middle classes, on the occasion of Father’s Day.
“While the Government of Pedro Sanchez and the Government of Armengol They have squeezed families, there is a party that thinks of them, Ciudadanos, “he said, proposing a series of measures that, he added, “go directly to recover both the time and money of families.”
The first of the measures proposed by the orange formation is the promotion of a flexible work week for «ensure that families can reconcile». At this point, the CS political spokesperson has also summoned the «co-responsibility» of fathers and mothers so that «the salary gap does not always affect women».
Other of CS’s proposals are the implementation of a scholarship for school transport and the free educational stage from zero to three years both in subsidized and public centers, reports the Europa Press agency. «It cannot be that only families who take their children to public centers are helped, because We do not have nursery places in the Balearic Islands or in the rest of Spain», Guasp stressed.
CS has also proposed a reduction of personal income tax by 10 points for all families from two children who, according to calculations of the orange formation, «will mean a saving of 1,500 euros per child». In the case of single parents, the income tax reduction would be applied from the first child.
Finally, CS has promised to return to claim in the Congress of Deputies joint custody, in the case of separated parents. “This should be the general principle of the system in the event of separation and divorce because there is no cause more just and equal than joint custody,” Guasp said.
«All the measures proposed by CS have the same objective, that the families of the Balearic Islands and the rest of Spain recover their time and money. We are very fed up that the squeezed middle classes are the ones that have to support and sustain the entire framework of the public administrations of the State and now, in additiona pension system that is unsustainable», he stressed, reiterating that in CS they are focused on families, on an egalitarian health system and on reforming the educational system. “That is our revolution,” she concluded.
