In full storm for the accusations of Francesc Gameroformer undersecretary of the Ministry of Monica Oltra and current Autonomous Secretary of the Treasury of the Valencian Government, chaired by the socialist Ximo Puigand the former chief of staff of Oltra herself and first ex-husband of the former Valencian vice president Miquel Real, commitment has organized an event for Saturday in Alicante in which they will participate, among others, their national deputy Joan Baldoví and number 2 of the Government of Puig Aitana More.
Gamero and Real have been called to testify as defendants by the head of the Investigating Court Number 15 of Valencia in the same procedure in which Mónica Oltra is also charged. In the case of the former vice president, for the alleged crimes of prevarication, abandonment of minors and omission of the duty to prosecute crime.
The judge seeks to clarify whether the charges and/or personnel of the Oltra Ministry allegedly concealed the complaints of the minor abused by the husband of the then vice president at the time of the events and to know who gave the order and participated in the file that was developed in parallel to the first judicial proceeding against Oltra’s ex-husband, what is known as the parallel investigation. The case throws, today, a balance of 16 imputed.
Oltra was charged on June 16. Only 48 hours after that accusation, Compromís held a festive act to vindicate the figure of Oltra herself in Valencia, where, as in Alicante now, they were, among others Baldoví and Aitana Mas.
Mónica Oltra took the stage that day to the rhythm of the clapping of the attendees, while the loudspeaker reiterated a message: «Botánic 2», (Botanical 2), the name given to the Valencian Government for the place where PSOE, Compromís and United Podemos signed the governance agreement. That festive act was interpreted then, moreover, as a challenge to Puig himself. Only 3 days after that appointment, Oltra resigned.
The parallels that unite that appointment and the one on Saturday in Alicante They start with their name. ‘Soms molt d’Alacant’ (‘We are a lot of Alicante’) is almost the same name as the famous Valencia party, but with a variant. On that occasion, Compromís used ‘Soms molt de Mónica’ (‘We are a lot of Mónica’) as the first message, in reference to what has been its leader. Now: ‘We are a lot from Alicante’.
The coalition has been announcing the event, which will be at the Esplanade, on social networks for days. And not even the recent accusation of Francesc Gamero and Miquel Real has changed their plans. understand that Ximo Puig cannot dismiss either of the 2 positions mentioned because they do not belong to the socialist quota, but to that of the nationalists.
The Popular Party, through its deputy spokesman in the Valencian Parliament Elena Bastidashas already complained to Puig that dismiss Gamero, Real and the general director of the Minor Rosa Molero, also charged. But Puig has not answered. He did not even do it yesterday, in the General Policy debate, when in his speech he did not spend a single second talking about this case, which shakes the Valencian Community.
