The president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Diaz Ayusowill appeal this Monday before the Supreme Court the educational curriculum prepared by the Government of Pedro Sanchez for considering that “it carries a great ideological burden” and “leave aside» aspects that the Community of Madrid considers «essential».
The curriculum in the Baccalaureate stage, the most important, is especially harmful, since it gives access to higher and university studies.
The president will inform tomorrow, Monday, the scope of this important resource.
This has been reported by sources from the regional government, who have reiterated that the curriculum at the stage of Baccalaureate es «especially harmful», being the «most important», since it gives access to higher and university studies.
This Monday the regional president will give information about this resource. On June 1, the spokesman for the Madrid Government, Enrique Ossorio, announced – as the regional president had advanced – that textbooks will be reviewed and request the withdrawal of those that he considers to contain sectarian material».
The Government of Spain has renewed the Baccalaureate for the next year it will be more flexible, optional and open, it will allow going from 1st to 2nd with two failures and obtaining the title with a slope, it recovers History of Philosophy from 2nd and, also in 2nd, History of Spain will begin in the year 1812, instead of in Prehistory, as it happens now.
Thus, the new curriculum will be organized into common, modality and elective subjects (add up to more than forty subjects). It will be implemented for the 1st year of Baccalaureate in the 2022-2023 academic year and for the 2nd year, in 2023-2024.
The same as in the rest of the curricula already approved this year (Infant, Primary and Secondary), Education only sets the minimum teachings -the basic knowledge of each subject and the hours that must be dedicated to them-. 60% for communities without a co-official language and 50% for those that do.
