This Saturday the first edition of Autopia in El Bosque del Santander, in which almost 5000 personas enjoyed a great car festival with an unprecedented exhibition that brought together some 570 vehicles from different eras. Brands such as Porsche, Mercedes, Alpine, Bentley, Kia, Alfa Romeo, Polestar, Cupra, Ford, Toyota or Maserati were present at the event, showing some of their most iconic and exclusive models. The two-wheel sector was also represented thanks to Triumph, Vespa, Yamaha, Aprilia and Moto Guzzi, who presented their new models to the public present.
Attendees were able to enjoy iconic and unique units such as the Pegaso Z102, Porsche 959, Rolls Royce and Bentley from the 20s, Maserati Ghibli del 69, Maserati 3500 GT, Ferrari 250 GT and 365 GT, a good selection of copies of the SEAT 600, 800, 850, 1500 and 1430 and all the series of the legendary Volkswagen Golf. The oldest car in the event was a The 1912 Ford Speedsterthe rarest being a Trabant from the German Democratic Republic and among the most current models, the new Mercedes SL, the Maserati MC20, the Mercedes EQS, the Polestar 1 of which only 1500 units were manufactured, the Ford Mustang California Special, the Porsche Cayenne Coupe Turbo GT, Alfa Romeo Tonale, Alpine A110 S, Kia EV6 GT and the Cupra Formentor VZ5 and El Born.
«Autopía is, more than a dream, a reality. We have managed to reawaken the passion for the automotive industry and many people find the car that their father or grandfather drove or that they always wanted. Those who came were able to enjoy admiring these vehicles, remembering and sharing with their sons and daughters the peculiarities of these models. Autopia is the automotive dream and a perfect journey through its history with vehicles in perfect condition”, explained Juan Hernández-Luike, head of the organizing team.
Every detail built a unique experience. With all the tickets sold before your celebration, Santander Forestin Boadilla del Monte, just 10 kilometers from Madrid, opened its doors to the public for the first time in its history, to be the meeting point for hundreds of families. Along with the exhibition, live music enlivened the almost 10-hour event.
Also, Autopía had a children’s area and was a Pet friendly event, had a space dedicated to pets, thanks to the British brand Barbour Dogs, which presented a sample of its products. Attendees also enjoyed the presentation of Re-Lovedthe sustainable aspect of the British-essential firm Barbour –known for its waxed garments– giving its jackets a second life and promoting respect for the environment.
Autopía, a solidarity event
Autopía has also been a solidarity event in which 3% of the ticket proceeds will go to the research “Children against Cancer” of the University Clinic of Navarra and the Applied Clinical Research Center (CIMA). In addition, the experience was 100% sustainable thanks to the installation of portable solar fields that guaranteed the self-sufficiency of the venue throughout the day; from the area of musical performances to the gastronomic space.

We have learned a lot organizing this first edition and that will allow us to work better to ensure that the next Autopia 2.0 make it an even better experience”, commented Héctor Álvarez, who completes the team that has created the Autopía brand.
