The Andalusian Government will pay tribute to Javier Ibrodawho died last April, giving the name of the former Minister of Education and Sports and former national coach of balloon al integrated public center for Aerospace Vocational Training in La Rinconada (Seville).
This was announced this Wednesday by the acting president of the Junta de Andalucía, Juanma Moreno, in his investiture speech in the regional Parliament. “I think it is fair tribute who was a great Minister of Education, “said the leader of the PP-A. The aforementioned center, which is already under construction, has an investment of more than ten million euros.
Imbroda, who was also coach of Unicaja de Málaga and the Sevillian team Caja San Fernando, with whom he reached the final of the Copa del Rey in 1999 and was runner-up in the ACB in the 1998-99 season, passed away at the age of 61 after a long fight against cancer.
Born in Melilla, he was a doctor in Educational Sciences from the University of Malaga and regional deputy of Citizens (Cs) for this province, constituency for which he was head of the list in the Andalusian elections of December 2, 2018.
Reference aeronautical center
Juanma Moreno has highlighted that the center of La Rinconada will be «the largest in Andalusia and a referent of aeronautical education in Spain». In this sense, Moreno has focused part of his speech on the investiture debate on young Andalusians, “with plenty of preparation and talent to occupy a leading role in the ambition of making a leading community.”
In regards to the youth trainingthe acting Chairman of the Board has affirmed that his government will continue with the “historic transformation” of the Vocational training Regulated towards a “model of the future that is truly useful for the access of young people to the labor market”.
“We must understand training as an employment policy so that VET in Andalusia Be a role model for success. For this reason, more than 60% of the offer is associated with emerging sectors and we have reinforced the degrees linked to industry 4.0”, added Moreno. The leader of the PP-A has highlighted that in this legislature they will offer «20,000 more seats of Regulated FP until reaching 180,000». In addition, in a “clear commitment to Dual Vocational Training, more than a third of the new jobs will be in this modality”, he stressed.
