The protest has been carried out in parallel to the fact that one of the unions participating in the mobilization, CSIFwill alert that the situation in the Valencian Public Health Hospital Emergencies is getting complicated again and will in turn demand more staff and more means to care for patients with the necessary resources.
Specifically, and according to the aforementioned union, today, the flagship hospital of Valencian Health, La Fé de Valencia, has woken up with 29 patients waiting for an emergency bed. In that same facility, the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) was full, with no space available. While in the Resuscitation Unit there was only room for 2 more patients.
With regard to the La Ribera hospital, in Alcira, where the workers have given the Ministry of Health a month to resolve the conflict they are currently having and not go on strike, early this morning there were 13 patients waiting for bed in the ER. The same as in the General University Hospital of Valencia. Finally, in the Clinic there were 20 other patients in the same conditionsalways according to the aforementioned union.
Total, 75 patients waiting for an emergency bed at the Ximo Puig Public Health this morning. For all these reasons, the Independent Central Union of Officials (CSIF) has urgently demanded from the Ministry of Health directed by Miguel Mínguez a reinforcement of personnel in all the health departments of the Valencian Community to face a situation, that of hospital saturation , which gets complicated again. It has also requested that the Primary Care so that the necessary care can be given to prevent many people from going directly to the ER.
