A fire in a nightclub in Murcia causes at least six deaths

At least six people have died in the fire that broke out tonight in a well-known nightclub in Murcia, although the emergency services do not rule out that there are more deaths, since they are searching for several people whose whereabouts are unknown, as confirmed by the mayor. of the city, José Ballesta, and the emergency services. 112 has confirmed the six deaths and that another four people are injured in the accident declared at the Teatre nightclub.

Several fire crews from the Fire Extinguishing and Rescue Service (SEIS) of the Murcia City Council had gone to the scene trying to put out the fire. The firefighters requested the intervention of the helicopter from the General Directorate of Security and Emergencies.

A total of 12 fire vehicles and 40 personnel continue working, after putting out the fire, to secure the area after the fire that occurred at the Teatre nightclub, in Atalayas.
