Citizens against the amnesty for those accused of the procés, which Pedro Sánchez is preparing in exchange for the support of the Catalan independentists to continue in Moncloa, are preparing to show their rejection in a demonstration in the Plaza de Felipe II in Madrid this Sunday, 24th September.
An event, called by the Popular Party, hours before the investiture of Alberto Núñez Feijóo on Monday, September 26, in which all citizens who wish to express their discontent against the amnesty that Junts and ERC demand as condition of support for Pedro Sánchez after weeks of criticism of these maneuvers, not only from the Popular Party, but also from historical former socialist leaders such as Felipe González or Alfonso Guerra.

The event, which the general secretary of the Popular Party, Cuca Gamarra, has encouraged, will take place at 12:00 p.m. in the Plaza de Felipe II in Madrid.
In Gamarra’s opinion, “there is still time” for the PSOE to carry out an internal debate, if Pedro Sánchez “allows it”, since the PSOE’s “big problem” is that “it is subject” to it. «Nothing is set in stone and they can still reflect and the PSOE can think if it is willing to deliver what Puigdemont and Junqueras are asking of them, which is equality between all Spaniards and say that democracy did not work when a coup d’état was attempted. in 2017,” he stated.

As previously indicated, the location of the demonstration will be the Plaza de Felipe II in Madrid, located between Alcalá and Jorge Juan streets near Narváez. This will be followed by interventions by José María Aznar and Mariano Rajoy, while the closing ceremony will be carried out by the national president of the party, Alberto Núñez Feijóo. The PP hopes to bring together more than 10,000 people and for which dozens of buses have been chartered from different corners of Spain.
From the PP of Madrid they have dedicated themselves to the event and have put “all their resources” at the disposal of the national leadership. In fact, according to sources from the Madrid PP, they have mobilized around 5,000 people and have worked to get all party headquarters involved in the event.
