Eduardo Inda has done an experiment with which he wants to demonstrate how little sense there is, above other considerations, in approving the use of co-official languages in Congress, the so-called Babel, so that communication is greatly complicated. The director of OKDIARIO has used artificial intelligence to present himself to the readers of this newspaper, speaking first in Galician and then in Catalan. What’s the score? Readers who master these languages will be able to understand him perfectly, but, obviously, this will not be the case for the rest of the Spaniards.
“Using headphones in Congress is a real nonsense, because languages are there to communicate, not to incommunicate,” explains Eduardo Inda in Galician. And he then explains that “this is obviously a setup of artificial intelligence, because I do not know how to speak either Galician or Catalan, even though the second of these languages was mastered by my great-grandparents and my maternal grandmother.”
He then presents his argument in Spanish, “the language that 46 million Spaniards speak.” He emphasizes that “it is going to cost us a million euros for the joke of resorting to headsets speaking Spanish for all the deputies because the nationalist hicks have taken to humiliating constitutionalism, Spain, and above all, common sense” .
Eduardo Inda points out that “it is surreal that Miriam Nogueras and Gabriel Rufián have to resort to that Spanish that they hate so much to understand a speech by any of the ETA deputies in Congress.” “It’s enough that, on top of treating us Spaniards like whores and whores, we have to make the bed,” he cries. Remember that “we enjoy mastering the language of Cervantes, García Márquez, Rulfo, Borges, Vargas Llosa, Cela, it is the second most used language in the United States of America!, in the most important nation in the world . And here we dedicate ourselves to trampling on it: can we be more stupid?
