They are asking for four years and seven months in prison for the incidents recorded during the 8-month strike at the Amurrio and Llodio factories. A rally outside the courthouse will demand his acquittal.
Three workers will be tried this Monday for the incidents recorded during the eight months of strike in Tubacex. These are workers from other companies who participated in the protests and who are accused of public disorder and attacks on authority. The Prosecutor’s Office requests four years and seven months in prison for them.
As in previous trials, there are protest demonstrations called in front of the Vitoria-Gasteiz courts (starting at 8:30 a.m.). They will demand the acquittal of the accused and denounce “the attempted criminalization of the working class.” According to what they criticize, there is a “double standard of measurement with respect to other mobilizations.”
This trial comes after the acquittal of another worker and the imposition of the minimum sentence on another employee of the company. On October 11, another trial will be held against company workers at the Llodio plant.
