The Deputy General of Álava hopes that “the new plurinational vision” of the next Spanish government will be transferred to the Ministry of Agriculture and that it will understand that a different management of the Rioja DOC is necessary.
Ramiro González believes that what happened with the group of Bodegas Familiares that has decided to abandon the management bodies of the Rioja DOC Regulatory Council because they are not taken into account shows that Álava’s request, to differentiate its wines, is not a ” political claim”.
