The missile hit an administrative building in Krivoy Rog, and images shared by Sergei Lisak, head of the Military Administration of the Dnipropetrovsk region, reveal a devastated and burning infrastructure. Among those injured, unfortunately, is a police officer.
This attack adds to the escalation of violence that has shaken Ukraine in recent hours. The night before, in the Sumy region, up to 14 explosions occurred in a single attack, further aggravating the difficult situation faced by the civilian population.
However, the epicenter of the war remains Zaporizhzhia, where citizens have to deal with shelling on a daily basis. Living conditions are extremely precarious, and many are forced to survive without electricity, water or gas supplies. The resource shortage is so pressing that some residents have resorted to drinking rainwater and using solar panels and flashlights to brave the darkness.
“I drink rainwater. Yes, rainwater, I boil it and drink it. I make tea with it. Where else can you get it, if you don’t have it?” said Halyna Zhovner, a resident of Pryvilne in the Pologovsky district. in Zaporizhzhia.
Since the start of the conflict, more than half the population has left these war-torn areas, but some are beginning to return in search of their livelihoods. Tragedy and the struggle for survival persist in Ukraine as the conflict continues to wreak havoc on the lives of civilians.
