Today, Thursday, the yellow warning will be activated throughout the day due to persistent high temperatures in Bizkaia and Gipuzkoa. According to Euskalmet’s forecast, maximum temperatures may be around 29 degrees in the coastal area and around 32 degrees in the inland Cantabrian area. For its part, in the transition zone it will be around 17/30 degrees and 18/29 degrees in the Ebro axis.

The warning for persistent high temperatures will also remain active this Friday, until midnight, in Bizkaia and Gipuzkoa. During that day, temperatures can be around 20 and 29 degrees in the coastal area and around 18/32 in the interior Cantabrian area. For its part, in the transition zone there will be maximum temperatures of 30 degrees along the Ebro axis.

Summer temperatures will continue on Saturday, with maximum temperatures that can be around 29ºC in the coastal area and around 31ºC in the interior Cantabrian area. For its part, the maximum temperatures will be around 28-29 degrees in the transition zone and in the Ebro axis.

On the other hand, there is no warning decreed in either Navarra or Iparralde.
