Maker Faire Uckermark Schwedt/Oder on Sunday, September 10, 2023

On Sunday, September 10, 2023, the Uckermärkische Bühnen Schwedt will become a stage for innovation and technology: the first Maker Faire Schwedt-Uckermark will take place. Admission is free. The organizer is the Youth Meets Technology Association together with the Schwedt | Uckermark and the city of Schwedt.

The innovation and technology event brings together makers, hobbyists, inventors and artists to present their projects and inventions to a wide audience. Whether it’s a hobby or a job, whether in research, at home, at school, in the MakerSpace or at the university: all creative minds and technology enthusiasts meet at the Maker Faire in Schwedt to exchange ideas. Most recently, makers from Berlin, Eberswalde, Cottbus and Schwedt registered. From individual exhibitors to model building clubs, workshops and universities. From the student showing off his self-made electric car or exoskeleton to the sparkling pensioner, everything is there.

On the same weekend, the Schwedt Study and Training Fair (SAM) and Inkontakt (Sunday, family festival with 200 exhibitors) take place in parallel, so there are many other stands and attractions on site.
