Five million of them are flying free after their honeycombs fell off the truck transporting them in west Toronto on Wednesday.

“I woke up with my wife saying something was happening outside. There are all kinds of bees or something like that,” says Dave Lloyd, a resident of the area.
According to specialists, there is no risk that these essential insects will be lost.
They communicate by smell, sight and all that,” explains beekeeper Luc Peters. “So they’ll start communicating that way and they’ll figure out their way home.”
