Last Monday morning, a traffic accident caused the death of a 25-year-old young man in Formentera, while two other people were injured. Hours later it was learned that the deceased was the cook Ander López, a native of Lodosa, who was working in a restaurant on the island. According to local media such as Diario de Ibiza, the first investigations indicate that the vehicle López was driving, a white Volkswagen Polo, invaded the opposite lane, colliding with another car, a Ford Ranger in which a 29-year-old man was traveling. that “did not cause the accident, but gave a positive breathalyzer test,” according to the Civil Guard. Later, he continued his career in Barcelona, where he worked in the kitchens of Flor de Sal and the Barcelona Golf Hotel, and in London. Currently, he was part of the kitchen team at the Es Còdol Foradat establishment, located on Migjorn beach and led by the well-known chef Nandu Jubany, who has several businesses in the Balearic Islands.
