This Monday TVE had planned to broadcast the duel between Aguilar del Campoo and Tineo, the two towns that face each other in the first semifinal of the Grand Prix. However, the public channel postponed the broadcast of the contest due to the celebration of Spain’s victory in the Women’s Soccer World Cup.
Despite the fact that at first the celebration of the World Cup in Madrid seemed to be broadcast on Teledeporte, on Monday morning TVE announced the television deployment to offer the welcome and the celebration of the World Cup victory live on La 1, which which meant the postponement of the Grand Prix.
It will be this Tuesday, August 22, starting at 10:35 p.m., when Ramón García presents the tests that will decide the name of the first town that will access the grand final of the new edition of the contest, which 18 years after its last broadcast , has become the great television success of this summer.

Both Tineo and Aguilar de Campoo qualified after scoring 26 points, just one more than fifth-placed Los Montesinos. The Asturians have reached the final after beating Los Montesinos, while the people from Palencia did the same with Cervelló.
Next week the ‘Grand Prix’ will return, predictably to its natural broadcast day, Monday. In this way, the second semifinal that will face Yepes and Alfacar with 29 and 27 points, respectively, will be held on August 28.
The grand finale of the format, which in this edition has eliminated the heifer due to the animal protection law and has included novelties such as the dinosaur Nico, is expected to take place on September 4 if Spanish television does not make changes to its grid. The winner will rise to glory 18 years after the last program of the ‘Grand Prix’ was broadcast.
