At secIT Digital in September there is a lot of practical knowledge that admins can use without hesitation for more effective protection of the IT infrastructure.

The speakers, handpicked by the editors of c’t, heise Security and iX, convey their specialist knowledge in lectures and workshops in a compact and understandable way. The editorial content is free of advertising and gives admins specific security tips.
The IT security conference will take place online on September 13th and 14th, 2023. All you need to participate is a computer with an active internet connection. The lectures will take place as live video. Of course there is also time for questions.

Frank Ully, Head of Research Oneconsult, uncovers security myths and errors in his presentation.
Highlights
The lectures and workshops help to defend against cyber attacks, but there is also content that helps when there has already been a bang in IT. In his lecture “Ransomware – about the attackers and their methods for the right reaction”, Stefan Strobel, Managing Director of cirosec GmbH, describes which attack techniques are currently being used and how best to counteract them.
Nadia Meichtry, Digital Forensic & Incident Specialist Oneconsult, shows in her presentation “E-mail as a popular gateway for attackers” how employees can recognize fraudulent emails and how they should deal with them.
The workshops deal, among other things, with the protection of Azure Active Directory and which security gaps are attacked most often.
