Back to Assassin roots

“Assassin’s Creed: Mirage” is a size smaller than previous “AC” games like “Valhalla” and “Odyssey”, which required dozens of hours with huge open game worlds and diligent tasks. With “Mirage”, developer Ubisoft deliberately goes back to the roots of the series. The focus should therefore no longer be on the typical open-world collection tasks, but on sneaking and killing, which once distinguished the series.

In “Assassin’s Creed: Mirage” players take on the role of the assassin Basim, who practices his assassin trade in Baghdad in the 9th century. The developers are aiming for 15 to 20 hours of playtime – enough time to play through the title before the release of the other blockbuster games in October.
