A Russian missile attack caused numerous injuries and damage to several civilian buildings in the western Ukrainian region of Lviv

The mayor of the regional capital, Andriy Sadovyi, reported that one of the missiles hit the courtyard of a kindergarten, injuring four people.
And in the neighboring region of Volhynia, specifically in the city of Lutsk, three civilians died from the impact of a Russian missile and others were injured, according to the governor of the region.
Also this Monday, the Ukrainian President, Volodimir Zelensky, visited the headquarters of the brigades that carry out offensive operations within the Soledar tactical-operative group in the Donetsk region.
On the front line, Ukraine claimed some gains in the east and south, small steps in its counteroffensive launched two months ago to liberate these Russian-occupied territories.
Also, Ukrainian Red Cross teams evacuated civilians living in settlements and towns near the northeastern front line, where Russia has recently intensified attacks amid a renewed offensive in that direction.
Residents said they had been close to Russian attacks and decided to make the difficult decision to leave because of the indiscriminate shelling.
