Photographically, the Faroe Islands are an absolute all-rounder. I have now visited the Faroe Islands many times and have been able to explore pretty much every corner. In this article I would like to introduce you to the beauty and variety of motifs of the fjords and mountains and introduce you to some of my favorite places.

But where do you start when there are 18 islands to explore? There are almost an infinite number of motifs, and in addition to the perspectives that I would like to emphasize in this text, there are still numerous worthwhile photo spots.

The partly otherworldly landscape, almost without trees and with rock formations that drop up to 750 meters in steep cliffs towards the sea, offers photographers a natural backdrop that is unique in the world.
