The Basque paripé

The truth is that one is astonished that there are fine political analysts who do not understand the PNV position of rejecting an investiture of Feijóo. The jeltzal party has always been known for playing to the advantage and managing its eternal complaints. It is a party of misunderstood, always vindictive of the lack of case that is made towards their sacred right to decide. That nationalist right makes evident what Cervantes said that “A good complaint is better than bad pay.” Well, it is not the case at all, given the existence of an economic concert that we repeat once again, it is a financial and fiscal anomaly in the European Union. And with the check in hand that is negotiated when it’s time, with the spoils of the votes in the San Jerónimo race as counterpart, the account is always favorable.

It would be unheard of for the peneuvistas to support a PP government that seeks political and economic stability, because we would not know then what would be the reason for their complaint. It is much more profitable to support the conglomerate of an investiture by Sánchez, because in that gazpacho one walks with the taboo of the right to decide as a pending account that, in addition to being impossible, the one from Tetuán will already be in charge of breaking the agreement, because that it is its political nature. But one feels more comfortable, which on the other hand is what the PNV has done as a balance of the last legislature, saying that something was agreed upon without it being executed.

The reality is that Basque society lives unprecedented levels of self-government, and if not, ask the scholars in the purple of the federal State who go around proclaiming without knowing any reason, the system of other territorial realities and their ceilings competencies. Precisely we also do not know what powers can be transferred and claimed, unless foreign policy, defense or the Judiciary are directly requested. In this tangle only the PNV has a risk before the next Basque regional elections. If any public or legislative policy that is made in Madrid does not matter, whether it comes from the blue or red bench, since the essential thing is the right to decide, the real thing will be the independence movement. The one who asks for it openly: Bildu. Of course, the thing about the PNV, whatever happens to it in this eternal negotiating paripé after the general elections of all democracy, can be similar to that of that buddy who, leaning on the bar with a good malt, complains that he has to pay the mortgage of the big man, the big car and the whims of the woman. And to his misfortune, the latter ends up leaving him.
