JavaLand is a community conference aimed primarily at Java developers. The organizers are iJUG, DOAG and Heise Medien.
Proven and new
As usual, there are different main topics. We are looking for presentations in the areas of “Core Java & JVM Technologies”, “Enterprise Java”, “Programming Languages”, “Cloud, Container & Infrastructure”, “Architecture”, “Methodology & Culture”, “Security”, “Quality & Testing”. ‘, ‘Data, Streaming and AI’, ‘Tools’, ‘UI & UX’ and ‘What’s next?’
The Call for Papers runs until September 19th.
This year there is again a program for newcomers. It is aimed at those who would like to give lectures but have little or no experience as a speaker. You will receive support from experienced mentors during the preparation. Applications for the newcomer program are possible until September 8th.
Record year 2023
The JavaLand conference started in 2014 with around 800 participants and the number has grown to around 2100 by 2019. After two years of moving to an online format due to the pandemic, the conference returned to Phantasialand in 2022, initially with “only” 1200 people, before finally setting a new visitor record this year with 2400.
