A drone has crashed in western Moscow after it was intercepted by Russian air defense systems, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin has reported. Although there were no injuries, Muscovites do not hide their fears, since this type of event is becoming more frequent.

“Of course I’m scared, I have three kids. Of course I’m worried. It’s already happening right next to us. If you ask me what to do, I don’t know, they should probably beef up security somehow. I think it’s kind of already serious sign to think about,” said a local resident.
“The drones are flying over Moscow again. They have us a bit scared,” admitted Artemiy Dulisov, a technology student.
Meanwhile, the Ukrainians claim that their air defenses thwarted a Russian attack on kyiv.
In Zaporizhia, a Russian missile attack near a hotel on Thursday night killed one person and injured 19 others, including four children, according to a statement from the Ukrainian Interior Ministry.
The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) quoted the humanitarian coordinator for Ukraine, Denise Brown, who condemned the attack. Affirming that both she and her team frequently stay at the hotel, and that it was the UN base for the Azovstal civilian evacuation operation, in Mariupol.
According to Ukrainian authorities, a Russian missile attack on civilian infrastructure in the Ivano-Frankivsk region of western Ukraine killed a child.
In Kherson, one person was killed as Russian shelling hit several residential areas in the southern region.
