The Civil Guard detains seven people for robberies and sexual assault

The Civil Guard has arrested seven people for four robberies with violence, one sexual assault and two crimes of injury in Llucmajor.

As reported by the Armed Institute in a statement, the investigation began in June. After the celebration of the fiesta de los quintos in this municipality, four robberies with violence, two crimes of injuries and one complaint for a crime of sexual assault were reported, all of them committed in a group and with the same description of the perpetrators.

During one of the robberies, the friends of one of the victims tried to defend him, but the criminals did not give up and began to beat the people who came to the boy’s aid. This aggression led to a massive fight that caused a stir and social alarm among the residents of the area.

Likewise, the Civil Guard explains that that same night, a young minor was approached by this same group of people, who touched her private parts without her consent.

During the first days of August, the seven young people allegedly involved in the events were arrested.
