In the last 24 hours, the Canary Islands have received the arrival of 10 boats and a total of 495 migrants on board. The last one was rescued by Salvamento Marítimo 64 kilometers east of Fuerteventura with 53 migrants of sub-Saharan origin on board, including 11 women and 3 children.
All the occupants of the last boat are in apparent good health, a spokesman for Maritime Rescue has informed Efe, who has detailed that the migrants will arrive in the afternoon at the port of Gran Tarajal.
