The thing about Neymar and Barça seems more serious than it could have been a few days ago, with a new actor on stage who could give the only possible script twist to see as a blaugrana this season. Saudi Arabia has emerged in this story as a bridge for this possibility, closing his signing and allowing him to play this season on loan to the Blaugrana team. All very bizarre.

Neymar’s agent, Pini Zahavi, is the one behind this operation that would allow the Brazilian that desire that he has been pursuing for several seasons, to return to the Camp Nou –although in this case to Montjuic–. The representative was together with Joan Laporta in one of the meetings that the culé president held in Saudi Arabia back in May where this possibility would have been raised.

Neymar has asked PSG to leave Paris this summer, as various French media have pointed out. The reason is his fervent desire to play another year in Barcelona, where he offered his best football years and where he was apparently happiest. The player has been thinking about the matter for weeks and has finally taken action on the matter, leaving control to Pini Zahavi, who has found a formula to leave the club and play for Barça.

A club from Saudi Arabia, of which the name has not yet been revealed, would be willing to present a formal offer for Neymar and would accept that this first year he would play on loan at Barça at the player’s precise wish. Part of the Brazilian’s salary, unattainable for the culés coffers, would be solved thanks to different commercial agreements that would balance the scales as Sport points out.

Neymar did not look favorably on his departure to Saudi Arabia but the possibility of entering the competition after a spell at Barça seduces and convinces him, also because he closed his stage in Paris once and for all. The culé team would have agreed to a maximum salary that Neymar can assume so that it fits within the entity’s narrow salary limit, something that, as we say, would be solved with commercial agreements, including the possibility of a friendly.

This is the only possible way that could leave Neymar at Barça this season, although for everything to add up there must be many variables, which is why it is very complex and difficult to produce. It should be noted that the culé coaching staff, led by Xavi Hernández, did not finish seeing this signing, considering that the player did not fit into his plans.
