The fire that broke out at 5:10 p.m. this Tuesday in an area of vegetation in Tiro Pichón, in the municipality of El Puerto de Santa María (Cádiz), has been controlled in an hour and a half by members of the Plan of Fight against Forest Fires of Andalusia, Plan Infoca, and the Consortium of Firefighters.
In a message on social networks, Infoca has announced that at 6:57 p.m. this fire has been considered controlled and work is already being done on its auction and liquidation.

To get to this point, a medium-heavy helicopter, three groups of forest firefighters, a support group, an operations technician, two environmental agents and a fire engine have been in the area on behalf of Infoca.
For their part, the Provincial Consortium firefighters, who were the first to respond to this fire after an alert received at 4:40 p.m., have mobilized two of their trucks from the El Puerto park and one from Cádiz.
The circulation of Cercanías trains between El Puerto de Santa María and Las Aletas, in the province of Cádiz, has had to be suspended at 5:50 p.m., due to the proximity of the fire, although once the fire is controlled it is expected that this service is restored and works normally.
With this there are already three fires in which Infoca aerial means participate in the province of Cádiz during the month of August, after the one that affected an urban area in La Línea de la Concepción on August 1 and the most recent, and which continues to be controlled but not extinguished, in the Las Canteras pine forest in Puerto Real.
Regarding this latest fire, Infoca has reported that a medium-heavy helicopter, two groups of forest firefighters, an operations technician and an environmental agent are still working on the ground at the moment.
