The 42nd edition of the Lluc a Peu de la Part Forana will have 45 starting points from different municipalities in Mallorca and will be held on the night of September 9 and at dawn on the 10th.
As reported by the Consell de Mallorca this Tuesday in a press release, the event organized by the Association of Old Blavets de Lluc plans to bring together more than 5,000 pilgrims.
For his part, the insular Minister of the Presidency, Antoni Fuster, has encouraged the public to participate, saying that “the Ascent to Lluc has become one of the most popular and participatory events of the summer” in the Part Forana.
“It is an opportunity to be able to enjoy our nature, sport, culture and the company of the rest of the participations”, he added.
For yet another year, the sporting event has the financial support of the Consell, which will make a monetary contribution of 55,745 euros, according to the Europa Press agency.
