Barcelona has two diamonds in the rough. Lamine and Abde, Abde and Lamine. The Barça team rubs their hands with these two youngsters. When everything seemed that the Gamper was leaving for London, the changes in the second half shook up the game to win 4-2. Three goals in the last 10 minutes to carry out a great comeback against Tottenham and arrive at the start of the League with good feelings. On a negative note, Araujo had to retire after 30 minutes due to muscle discomfort.

The first goal at the Lluis Companys Stadium was hard to come by. After two minutes, and who else, Robert Lewandowski gave the first joy to the few fans present in the new Barcelona fiefdom. It must also be recognized that the dates, the heat and the rival did not help to fill a stadium that will be the home of the Barça team until the autumn of 2024. The Pole opened the net of the new stadium with a left-footed shot that the goalkeeper of the club could have done a little more Tottenham. The game began in style with a great play by Raphinha behind the English defense to assist the Pole.

But the joy did not last long for Xavi Hernández’s painting. In the 23rd minute Skipp put the tables in the match, making it clear that Araujo is not a right-back but a central defender. On the left flank, between Perisic and Reguilón they beat the Uruguayan central defender so that the Spaniard sent a great low pass into the area. Lo Celso finished off the post, but Tottenham did not forgive the second. Skipp picked up the rebound and sent the ball into the back of the net.

And speaking of the king of Rome, problems have arrived for Barcelona. Ronald Araujo challenged Davidson Sánchez to a run down the right flank and ended up injured. The Uruguayan noticed a puncture instantly and asked for the change four days after the start of the league in Getafe. More problems for Barça.

Shortly after the first change (Sergi Roberto entered), the problems continued for that band. Ivan Perisic was intoned and turned to ‘roll’ to assist the protagonist of the afternoon. Skipp, who had already scored his team’s first goal, finished off a great cross from the Croatian with a header, surprising from behind making the score 1-2. The culés players did not believe it and the fans present were speechless before this comeback in a few minutes.

Lamine and Abde excite

In the 60th minute, Xavi made several changes, especially that of his sacred cows with his sights set on his league debut against Getafe. An hour of game for the most common and giving them half an hour of rest. Until then, the holders did not show signs of wanting (or being able to) overcome the match in front of the more than 35,000 spectators who attended the Gamper. Gundogan entered as the most striking figure. The German debuted before his people with a standing ovation. Another of those who revolutionized the party was Abde.

The Moroccan player showed all his credentials and his offensive potential. If Xavi had doubts about Dembélé’s departure, the substitute is at home. In his ‘erasmus’ in Osasuna he already showed what he is capable of doing and in the half hour he was on the pitch at the Lluis Companys Stadium he drove Reguilón crazy and stirred up the game as he knows how to do. The Spanish coach has a diamond and it would be a mistake to let him out again.

And when it seemed that the game was going to end with a well-deserved 1-2 for Tottenham, Xavi gave Lamine Yamal and Fermín López the opportunity in the last 10 minutes. More than necessary for the Spanish winger to do his thing. If it had been Abde first, then Lamine did a lot of damage to Reguilón’s back to assist Ferran Torres at 2-2. The former City player scored his third goal of the preseason, vindicating the exit rumors beforehand.

It was then in the 90th minute that Lamine Yamal brought the stadium fans to their feet. The very young (and very talented) Spanish winger drove his defense crazy with a dribble that will dominate the front pages this Wednesday. In that same play the ball reached the boots of Ansu Fati, who did not forgive the 3-2 and left the Gamper at home. And to put the icing on the cake, Abde scored the 4-2 in discount. What a two pearls Xavi Hernández has.
